Haus of Gloi In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb Leftovers
The theme for the perfume only series for the month of March is “In like a lion, out like a lamb.” Here in the Pacific Northwest we experience some pretty tumultuous seasonal transitions and this phrase has stuck in my head since I was a kid. My birthday is in the first part of March and I liked the phrase for that reason too. The way that has translated into fragrance is this: Roar, Snarl, Growl, and Purr are representative of the Lion while Little One, Frolic, Flock, and Graze are representative of the Lamb. Lion scents are based around a stormy rain accord and the Lamb scents are based around a creamy milk accord.
The lamb flocks. Honey cream with amber, vanilla, and a single orange blossom.
The lamb frolics. Milk and honey with sweetgrass and ivy.
The lamb grazes. Cherry almond cake with a layer of thick vanilla frosting.
The lion's growl. Gentle rain sweetened with Egyptian amber, soft incense, and vanilla.
The little lamb. Sweet oatmeal milk, kissed with apricot, peach, and chamomile.
The lion's purr. Soft mist, fig, and a pink marshmallow.
The lion's roar. Dark stormy skies, sleet lashed spruce boughs, shot with gunpowder, and cold winds.
The lion's snarl. Cold rains fall on freshly turned earth and fallen corn stalks.
Decants=8x35mm vials, Minis=5/8 dram bottles. Full sized bottles are stocked at Haus of Gloi. As limited edition collections, these scents will be allowed to sell out.
